I stared at the phone on my desk for the 10th time today, but there was still no call from Axel. Normally at this time he would try to piss me off by giving me more tasks than I could handle, but Axel had been calmed lately; he's not trying to make me quit my job anymore.
“I know, it's so vexing, isn't it?” Aurora asked and continued to rant on what I didn't care about.
For a second, I almost forgot that Aurora was in my office. Now that Axel wasn't troubling me anymore, I had so much free time that I didn't know what to do with it. In the meantime, Aurora was exploiting my time and thought that the angry expression on my face was a reaction to whatever gibberish she was saying.
