The bright light in the room momentarily blinds me as my eyes flutter open. I close my eyes and open them more slowly this time, letting them adjust to the light. The smells of drugs and chemicals hit me as I listened closely to the voice in the background; it was Axel and Dr. Gatlin. We were in Dr. Gatlin's lab, and I don't know how long I have been knocked out for his experiment.
“Nothing yet, Alpha, but I have noticed something extremely different about her blood and how it reacts as though it has a life of its own, but I still haven't figured out how this can benefit us; none of my test are giving positive results.
