I stared straight at beta Easton as he used his spoon to play around with his lunch in the company cafeteria instead of eating; I knew that he was very uncomfortable with my stare, but I didn't stop and continue; after all, it's his fault that I was sitting down at the same table with alpha Nathan.
"Easton is a very quiet person," Alpha Nathan said, "He could be unreasonably shy at times, but he's a good man." He was sitting down close to his beta while I sat down opposite them.
"I can tell that he's very loyal." My voice was razor sharp as I glared at Easton; he had been silently following me around the company until he found the opportunity to seize me and bring me to his alpha.
