The familiar darkness that was all too comforting, I couldn't exactly believe there was a time, I fought against that very darkness, the loud snore that sounded so much like music to my ears, the dim light coming from bunkmate phone, the only source of illumination. Oh, how I craved the comfort of my floppy bed, laying up at staring into space, lost in the shackles of my thoughts. My overthinking brain straining every last strength I have and crippling me to my knees, adaption is a major part of human life, guess I have adapted and hence it became my safe place. In my safe place, nobody else matters until I let them in, I was spent and I needed rest.
