I hoped my reflection would respond and assure me that the day wasn't going to be as bad as he felt. With a deep sigh, I put the toothbrush back in the holder and went to adjust the water temperature for my bath. I wanted it cold but not the kind that would bite my bones when the water touched my skin. I made the necessary adjustments, pulled off my briefs and stepped into the shower.
