I made the dinner with Arya helping me and Preeti sitting on the slab watching over us. She couldn't Stop smiling. The dinner was peaceful and my angel kept on reciting her whole day as usual but for the first time she didn't try to run from me. I was getting used to around her. I have always stayed at my father's but this apartment was meant for me and Diya. but Diya didn't want to stay in India so soon after our destination wedding, we went to America for her dreams and this house never came to use. If Preeti wasn't who she was I wouldn’t have ever brought her here in fact I would have made her stay at my fathers. but my family cannot come in between my revenge. I think my charms are working on her. as I moved towards the desert, she broke the silence.

"since PIL has been accepted and the proceeding will be further taken I cannot apply for judge's position as I am supposed to fight the case. since Arya needs me at the house after the school I was thinking if I could use one of your rooms as my office. this way I can spend more time with her.  Also, I don't like the cook. he makes everything Arya wishes for. instead of eating healthy she always eats pizza's burgers and fast food in afternoon. "

"this is your home too. Preeti you can make any change you want on your own. and I was wondering that I like your cooked food more than Raymond's ", he said.

Arya finished her desert and went to her room for her favourite cartoon show.

"you know our family. even the smallest decision is taken on the dining table in front of everyone so taking such decision without your knowledge, suggestion and permission felt intruding your privacy"

"okay I give you the permission if you are so precise about it but I want one thing in return"

"I won’t do anything. I won’t even touch you but please. the servants talk behind your back", I lied. she went into silence as if considering my argument. then after 5 minutes she spoke

"okay but I will sleep on couch"

"no, you do so much work. how can you sleep on couch? we both can sleep on same bed. I promise I won’t even try to seduce you", my words left her blushing as if she was thinking about it. of Corse I have that sort of effect on every woman.

"no that would be inappropriate"

"look into my eyes", I said maintaining the eye contact I slowly touched her hands n assurance and said firmly, “you are shifting to my room to my bed okay"

"okay", she said but she couldn't look away neither do I. all I could see in her eyes was love, pain, sadness and longing for something probably s*x. I really wanted to ask her how many boyfriends she had but that was too personnel and until she trusts me with her heart, I cannot really hurt her intentionally.

then she went taking the dishes to sink and started washing them.

one thing I always adored about her was she didn't usually dress up but she did she looked really beautiful. hardly she ever used to make up always so natural.  her short height and simple plain saree made her so tempting the I was hard as a steel.

I interrupted her saying, "let the made do them"

"leaving dishes overnight increases the cases of diarrhoea"

"I have noticed you have a very good knowledge of medicines. are you taking tuitions from Sanvi", I joked?

"I am certified doctor "

"what?", that came as a surprise I didn’t knew she was a doctor. she is a lawyer and a very influencing social reformer working for the women for the country. this information was quite common about her as she was always on the front page of newspaper because of her PIL, campaigns and challenging acts.

"I completed my graduation in medicine side by side did my LLB. I take it you are shock you can close your mouth", she said as if amused by my reaction. but how could it be possible medical is so difficult and side by side LLB that is something above the par. but she never told me that.

"you never bothered to ask. even when we were friends all you wanted me to do was be a third person in your and Diya’s conversation, to set up your secret meetings "

"it was. I never came back home during holidays. neither I wanted to. all little time I got I spent it with Arya. I am not that great of a doctor neither I wanted to practice. I was one of the first division students and that was enough for me. same in LLB first division student. as far as fighting was concerned it was in my blood. "

I called my assistant. told her to take care of shopping my wife needed to do. she can’t cancel it. she needs to know the truth so that she can repent her mistakes. so that she can trust me again.
