Just then, a guard came and unlocked their cell door that lead to the hallway. It was cut in the traditional fashion, the sides went straight up and the top was rounded with intricate carvings that Ravana had not learned about. “There’s no coming back to Thrace after you board this ship, your debt is forgiven by signing your lands and belongings over to the King, and your bloodline is hereby banned from Thrace for all time.” The guard said as he lead Ravana and Maneli toward the doors that lead to the loading ramps from the jail building. “Normally we would attach chains and shackles to the prisoners to keep them from running off into the water. Since you two are going that island of your own free will, I don’t see a point in wasting perfectly good chains and shackles.” the guard smarted
