When it was Maneli’s turn to speak with the Royal Proclaimer and Tanidela about his tax complaint, Maneli simply walked to the center of the room as calmly as he could muster. He simply looked at the two Royal Court representatives and laughed uncontrollably for a few moments causing an exchange of worried looks by everyone else in the room. “I do not owe the claimed shillings that the tax collector says I owe.
