Michaela's POV Following the events of the previous day, Lachlan never provided me with an explanation as to why he had treated me in such a manner. And now, he did not come in the morning but made his appearance in the afternoon. He acted as if nothing had happened between us when we were in his car, and despite the fact that I wanted to ask him about it, my behavior was inconsistent with my thoughts. I can't even face him nor make eye contact with him because I felt like for him, what he did was just nothing but a kiss, and it was not just a kiss for me, it was my first kiss.
