"He left?" She felt a sudden prick in her heart.
"He did, Michaela. They temporarily moved to the US." Marco said and she had the urge to cry but she tried her best to control them from falling down her face.
"Why?" The news is too much for her to bear, and for her, it was the reason why she couldn't reach him. She was ready to mend their broken bond yet she could no longer do it because he left without letting her know.
"After what happened...and while waiting for the examination results, he wanted to clear his mind from everything." She could see that Marco was holding back a piece of information.
