CLARISSA’S POV:-
“Mother?” I whispered,
Romulus’s mother is here, that means he was talking about Apollo? I had so many questions running in my mind, why would Apollo be far from his own mother? Why did she call Romulus instead of Apollo? If she wanted them to visit, she should have called both, but she just called Romulus and asked to bring Apollo with him, that only meant Apollo is not in talking terms with his mother.
But why? This family is way more mysterious than I thought!
As I was lost in thoughts, I had heard footsteps coming towards me, I was about to turn, “Clarissa?” Romulus called,
Shit!
I slowly turned around, “Romulus!” I said, looking at him nervously, “I’m so sorry I overheard your conversation!” I said without making eyes contact with him.
