Morning After

Adam leaned against the door jamb and lifted his cup of coffee to his mouth. He took a sip as he smiled.
“I don’t think she’s ever slept this long at one time.” Jake said, coming up behind Adam.
“She’s probably exhausted.” Adam said, then he continued, “Even while sleeping she’s damn sexy.”
“I’ll agree to that. She definitely was sexy last night.”
“Heh. Yea she was.” Adam turned to Jake, “Thanks for calling me. I think I needed that as much as she did.”
“Of course.” He said smiling at his friend.
Then they heard the shuffling of sheets as Jade readjusted in the sheets. She stuck a foot out then brought it up, which caused the sheet to ride up and expose her side.
Adam wondered if Jake was just as enthralled by her long legs and the curve of her hips as he was. His mouth watered and he felt his d**k harden.
He wanted to lift that gorgeous leg and drive himself deep in her like he did last night.
He was about to propose to Jake the idea of waking up Jade, when the morning quiet was interrupted with a loud screech and undiscernible techno beats.
Adam about jumped out of his skin and sloshed his coffee on his hand.
“s**t! What the f**k is that?” Jake said, as he started for the corner of the room to the source of the sound.
Jade’s hand shot out from between the sheets and blindly groped on her nightstand. She grabbed her phone, unplugged it one handed, and brought it to her ear.
Adam didn’t think she even opened her eyes.
“’Ello?” She answered.
She was quiet for a minute while she listened on the phone.
She rolled to her back covering her eyes with her hand.
“Linn. Stop. It’s okay. – No. I understand. --- No, don’t do that. I don’t think it’d be wise to have her around anyone. Besides, didn’t you say that lasts a week? – See? I told you. And then the other one will get it. – No. It’s fine. Don’t worry about me. I’ll figure something out.”
Adam pretty much had an idea what the phone call was about. Then when Jade answered a question with a drawn out and suspicious, ‘Yeeeeees’ he figured Linn had asked about him or the guys.
She let out a huff of laughter then said, “I told you I’d figure something out. You just take care of the littles. --- Yes, I’ll update you. --- Yes I’ll have them text you afterwards. --- I love you, too. Give the kiddos hugs for me, tell them I hope they feel better. – Yea. Talk to you later.”
Jade hung up then dropped the phone on the bed next to her. She still hasn’t opened her eyes.
Adam and Jake came and set on the bed next to her.
With her forearm draped over her face, Adam thoroughly enjoyed the uninhibited view of her breasts.
“Well. Do you have something to ask us?” Jake asked.
“Please tell me that’s coffee I smell.” She answered.
A short while later, Jade sat cross legged in one of her chairs drinking for a coffee mug two handed.
Then she dropped her forehead in one of her hands.
“I’m going to need a nap today. Christ, you two worked me over last night.”
Jake laughed and gave her a peck on her cheek.
“Are you hungry?”
“No I just need caffeine.”
“So what was Linn calling about?” Adam asked.
“One of the kids has hand, foot, and mouth.”
“Oh, yikes! So she can’t take you Tuesday?”
“Yeaaaaaa…” She answered.
She peeked up at them.
“Are any of you guys okay with taking me?”
“Of course! You know we would.” Jake said reaching for her hand.
She smiled up at them.
“Thanks guys.” Then she went back to her coffee.
Adam caught that her smile, grateful, surprised, or any of them has always been a small half smile. He wondered how long it has been since she gave her full smile and if she even remembered how.
His chest pinched at that thought. Jade’s trauma haunted her in every way and he decided he was going to do what he could to help her no longer be threatened by her past.
He reached for her, brushed her hair off her shoulder exposing her jaw and neck. He slid his chair closer to her. He gripped her gently at the base of her head and spoke.
“Don’t ever feel guilty for asking us for something. We are committed to you, we are here for you.”
Jade’s eyes glistened with a sheen of tears and she reached to hug Adam.
“You guys are amazing. I keep waiting for a shoe to drop or something because this all seems too good to be real.”
“We’re real. You deserve every single amazing thing that happens to you.”
When she pulled back from her hug with Adam, she reached and hugged Jake.
“Thank you.” She whispered, squeezing him tight.
Jake brought his hand up to the side of her face and gave her a short but deep kiss.
“Like Adam said, we’re here for you. Now let’s get some food. Emmett’s off and Mitch will be soon, too. Let’s go eat at our usual.”
“Okay. I’ll just need to get dressed.” She said.
She got up and made sure to bring her precious mug of caffeine with her to get dressed.
Emmett was already sitting at the table with the trio walked in.
He gave one intense look at the trio, as they sat down, then slowly broke into a grin.
“So, Jade. How’d you sleep last night?” He asked as she sat next to him.
“Erm.” She stumbled answering, feeling her face turn hot.
He chuckled in his rumbling bass then leaned close to her.
Softly so no one else could hear, he said, “Wait till you have a night with two that are experienced with sharing a bed. We’ll make sure you won’t be able to walk the next day and that you won’t be able to talk for three.” He kissed the crook of her neck and smiled at her before turning back to the other two.
Jake was watching the exchange with a mischievous smile.
Jade felt herself shiver.
And she felt herself getting hot.
Everywhere.
It was amazing with Jake and Adam. But Jake said that he and Emmett are used to sharing bed partners simultaneously. She didn’t know if body could handle a night that would be even more spectacular than last night.
And she couldn’t wait to test it.
