Emmett grinned to himself as Jade’s giggles echoed in the stairwell around them. Jake chuckled and teased her some more. Unable to help it, on the 2nd to last landing he reached out and snatched up Jade in his arms. He easily lifted her up and squeezed her in an embrace while she giggled some more.
“What’s this for?” She asked with a smile.
“I’m just so thankful to have you in our lives.” He said, then bent down to claim her for a kiss.
As they exited the door at the bottom of the staircase to outside, Jake and Emmett moved to walk with Jade between them. They both reached and held Jade’s hands in each of their own.
