Under The Starry Sky

Chapter 5

***Unknown POV***

I spot her leaving her pack territory with another girl, who I think is her best friend. Alpha says I have to follow them and try to find out anything I can. He knows her 18tb birthday is soon.

I get into my car, which I've hidden on a service road, and follow them into the neighboring city. Luckily the city is neutral grounds for all of the packs around it. They pull into the mall and park. I make sure to park close but not too close.

After a few minutes of waiting in my car, I get out and go into the mall. They are easy to spot. Especially the girl's friend because she is a red- head. I overhear them talking about a party.

This is so boring. All teenagers do is gossip and talk about guys. The girl I'm following, Stella Brandt, doesn't seem very interested in the conversation.

Several hours later they head to the food court. They get their food and sit down. I find a table hidden by some bushes not far from them.

Suddenly, they start whispering. Damn, I can't hear them. I haven't really gotten a lot of information from them. Alpha is going to be really pissed.

They get up and start to head towards the exit. I wait a few moments before I start to follow them again. I see Stella looking around. They haven't seen me yet or so I believe.

All of a sudden Stella glances my way. Now I know she has seen me. She tenses up and whispers to her friend again. I try to hide behind a soda machine.

As I peek out I noticed that they have walked up to a group of guys. I've never seen them before. They start talking and the guys walk them out to their car. Luckily I overhear Stella's friend mention the party. It's Saturday. Now I have something to tell Alpha.

I hide two cars down from theirs and listen. The guys are from Silver Sky pack and they will be at the party. Alpha Carl is going to love this.

Hopefully it makes him happy. I know he has something evil planned for the girl but it's not my business. I have to do what he says or there will be consequences. It's not easy living in the Black Water Pack.
