Selene continues to drag me harshly by hair, ignoring my cries and pleas for her to stop. Pain explodes in my brain, making me dizzy.
“Pl–please…stop…I didn’t do anything to Alpha..” I breathe, trying to hold on to my hair as she continues to drag me forward. She doesn’t stop until she reaches the middle of the other side of the hall, where several older men are standing and watching what is happening.
