Kimberly Pov: "Hmm. Are you a Vampire." I ask her, because of her skin colour. "No." She said laughing out loud. "I am not a Vampire. I am a druid." She informed me making my breath seize for a while. This is the first time I have had an interaction with my kind. "Oh." I say, not knowing what else to say. Druids are very smart creatures. One slip up from me and she would know who I am. "Umm, I don't know much about you Druids. I only know you guys are very smart." I say making her smile. "We are also peaceful." She says. "Druids are magical creatures but we only use our magic for good never bad. We are well vast in the practice of magic. Some would call us guardians because we are in charge of protecting every magical object, good or evil from the hands of other beings who want to use them to their own advantage." She tells me. "There are still more things about us but I would share them at another time." She says. "Hmm." I say taking in all the information. "Well, you say Druids are evil but aren't they part of the people who took over earth." I asked her, genuinely curious. "We Druids were forced to help in the destruction of your world. It wasn't a choice. I am sorry." She said looking sincere. "It's okay. It's not your place to apologize, you probably were not even born when it happened." I say making her smile at me. "You are not wrong." She said. "And we are done." She informed me and I let out a breath. "Finally." I say. She keeps her equipments and turn to me. "I will send over some dresses to your room later. You can pick whichever one suits you." She tells me. Just then the door opens revealing Damien. "My Lord." She says suddenly upright and looking a bit alert. "Danielle." He acknowledges her. "Are you done with her?" He asks. "Of course my lord." She said. "Good. I expect nothing less than perfection from you." He tells her and she nods eyes down. "Let's go." He gestures towards me. I look at the now scared and alert looking Danielle giving her a goodbye wave before leaving the room with Damien. We left the art gallery and headed back to the west wing, we both walked in silence. After a while of excruciating silence. I decided I have had enough. "She seems scared of you." I say trying to make conversation. "As she should be." Damien replies making me roll my eyes. "So do that mean I should be scared of you too?" I suddenly ask. "You aren't already?" He asks me now typing away on his phone. "Nope." I say popping the 'p.' "Well we have to fix that, don't we?" He said still not paying attention to me. His words really annoy me a lot. "You can try." I say making Damien stop in his tracks. He turns to me. "I can try?" He asks. "Yeah." I say. "It doesn't mean it would work though. I can be very stubborn." I say teasing him. He start walking towards me making my heart pound. I still don't understand why my body reacts to him so much. "Are you challenging me." He asks me with a frown, now only inches from my face. "So what if I am." I say a little quietly than I intended. It's hard to focus with him so close. He stares at me for a while before his lips turn up in a smirk. "Challenge accepted." He said grabbing me by my waist. "O love, you don't know what you just got yourself into." He said before letting me go and walking away. I stood frozen in my spot. My waist still tingling from his touch. "You coming?" Damien asks already Infront of the elevator leading to the west wing. "Right. Yes." I say running to catch up with him. He makes me so nervous I don't even know why. I have always been confident around people but around him I tend to lose all my confidence. I literally just melt. We enter the elevator and he presses our floor. We both stand in silence with me peeking at him from time to time. "Do you wanna say something." He asks now staring at me. "No. Why would you think that." I ask him. "Maybe because you keep glancing at me." He deadpans. I quickly try to hide my slightly red cheeks, turning to face the elevator door. The elevator stops and we go out. We get to my bedroom but when I opened the door my room was turned upside down. Edwards was at the middle of it directing some men to take out my bed and other things in my room. "Um, the f**k is going on here." I ask staring at Edwards then at Damien. "Master." Edward acknowledges Damien's presence with a little bow. "Edward, what are you doing." I asked him again. Edwards looks at me and then at Damien, making me know this is definitely Damien's doing. I turn to Damien. "What on earth are you doing to my room." I ask, hands on hip. "Redecorating." He said looking at the mess in my room. "Redecorating." I say and he nods. "Without my permission." I look at him in the eyes, my anger rising to the surface. "Why would you redecorate my room without letting me know." I ask angrily. "Point of correction love. This is my house." He said. "So? This is my bedroom." I cross my hand above my chest giving him the stink eyes. He smiles. "My house. My rules." He said, focusing back on the ongoing work. "Right." I sigh. "So Sherlock. Where on earth do I sleep now that you have destroyed my bedroom." I ask him. "In my bedroom." He replied. "Your things have already been taken to my room." He informs me. I stare at him feeling completely shocked at what he said. "I thought you never wanted to see me in your room again." I say remembering his words that night. He stares at me before walking towards his bedroom. "I changed my mind." He said. "Are you coming." He asks me bringing me out of my trance. I quickly follow behind him. We enter his room and just like the first time I entered. I was amazed. "Here." He said handing me a card. "What is this for." I turn the card around not understanding why he gave it to me. "It's the key to my room. If you lose it you will sleep in the hallway." He simply says. "Make yourself comfortable. Your clothes are in the closet." He said before taking off his shirt making my breath itch. "W-W-What are y-y-you doing." I asked him, feeling nervous and hot. He has the most perfect body I have ever seen on a guy and trust me I have seen a lot of guys shirtless. I literally grew up in an assassin organization. I looks at me ignoring my question before turning and walking into the bathroom closing the door behind him. I let out a breath I did not know I was holding. Well, looks like I just got seriously f****d.
