“Prashant!!” I heard a voice which was far away from me and was unfamiliar to me. I couldn’t really tell who this person was and how he knew my name.

“Prashant wake up.” I again heard this person calling me and this time it was quite familiar.

“Prashant, you are not dead, are you?” Who is asking this stupid question? I want to open my eyes but they are refusing at my order. “Oh my god, if you will be dead that what am I supposed to do.” This person seriously doesn’t have any sense of seriousness in his life. I felt the shake and this time a with all my force, I opened my eyes and saw a familiar face in front of me and it was blurred.

“Thank God you are alright.” He said and recognized him. He is Shaurya. Wait…. Shaurya? At that thought, I quickly opened my eyes and saw him all alright and was having the same energy which he was having when we first met.

“You have come out of your coma and you have been looking very well since the last time,” I said, and he chuckled a bit.

“Thank you for caring about me. Though I don’t know how we reached over here and how you got injured and how many days I slept, one of the reasons that I am now in front of you is that you have taken care of me or else I would have died by now.”

“You have experienced death so many times.”

“What so many times, merely two times?”

“Three times.” He looked at me with confused eyes.

“Don’t forget about your fight which you thought was an illusion.”

“You believe in illusions.”

“I don’t believe them, but I think that you must have experience of that and I can only conclude that it was one of the future.”

“Future?” I nodded. “I don’t care what it was. All that matters to me is that right now I am alive and now the past is gone and we are in the present and thinking and seeing of the future is something that I like to do less.”

“You are talkative but sometimes you talk full of sense.” He rubbed the back of his neck and sat beside me. I smiled a bit.

“My god!!” I looked at him worriedly.

“What is wrong?”

“I wonder what would happen to girls if they saw you smiling.”

“Why are you worried about that?” He shook his head.

“Are you feeling good now?”

“I want to rest for a few minutes.”

“That is good for you. Thank god that the spike which injured you didn’t engrave inside you so much or else you being alive now would have been hard.” I looked at him with confused eyes.

“How do you know that?” He smiled.

“Let that be a secret.” He winked in my way and I rolled my eyes.

“What is there to be a secret?”

“He had told me that I shouldn’t tell you just now. When the time will be right, then I would definitely tell you.” I don’t know, but I was curious to know how he knew about this and who he is over here?

“Then I will go and get something for us to eat.” He stood up but I held onto his hand and he looked at him.

“Don’t you want to take a rest after all…?”

“I am alright. I have taken a lot of rest and now it is your turn to rest for some time.” He said and went away. Till yesterday, I was taking care of him, but today I am in a situation and even though I haven’t experienced what death is, I am sure that I know how it feels when you feel powerless, but yet you have the determination to fight till you can.

Now I am optimistic about the future, but Shaurya has to be more careful because he has something which could risk his life. Today, Porcupine was the one who wanted to take him and that reminds me that I have not seen him anywhere. I stood up and went to the battlefield where I was fighting with him and I remember that I woke up near the tree but I was quite far from the tree. I looked at the ground and the sword which I was holding was there and even the pieces of the pike, but he was not anywhere.

“For whom are you looking for?” I heard his voice and I looked at him holding some of the fruits. He came towards me and handed me the fruit. This is the only thing which can help us survive over here. “I don’t think that you have seen one of your relatives for whom you are looking over here.” I gave him a look. I didn’t say anything this time and ate the fruit.

“Now I am feeling thirsty. We should go and find some bodies.” He said voluntarily. I couldn’t really share his cheerfulness. He started to move in the other direction. I looked around and I can’t recall many things and the way back where we were because I was busy chasing him and I didn’t care where I was running.

“Come on.”

“We have…” He cut me off.

“To be careful because we don’t know the route. No problem, now that we are both okay, we can win more fights.”

“And bet over our lives.”

“That is exactly what we are doing every second.” Technically, he is not wrong. Every second, new problems will come in front of us and we have to fight with them. We can’t really say anything, we have to move forward in order to know if we are capable of reaching its end and I also know that if this all ends, then I won’t be able to forget all these things easily.

“Are you going to follow me or not? Or are you thinking that we should now part our way from here only?” I looked at him.

“It would be better that we remain together so that…” He again cut me off.

“No need to say further, both are applicable.” I was confused at what he thought about my thoughts. “Now we should leave.” He said and I nodded and went behind him and we were walking inside the dark jungle. I guess there is less barren ground. Wherever I could see was only the trees.

“Uhh…my throat is thirsty. Can anybody provide me with water or else I would die over here only?” I rolled my eyes when I saw him acting like a kid.

“You won’t die this early.” He turned back and walked backwards.

“You are right.” And after saying that, he again looked forward and I shook my head. He stopped abruptly and I almost bumped into him, but I was lucky enough that I didn’t.

“What is wrong?” I asked him and he put his finger on his lips to indicate that I had to keep[N1] p quiet and I did that but I wasn’t able to understand why he was doing that and he turned his right and started to run and my eyes widened a bit in the confusion and then I started to run behind him.

“Why are we running?” He didn’t tell me anything and that made me irritated a bit and then he again turned to right and then to left and until he stopped and making me run in confusion.

“Why were we running?” I asked him, but he was looking in the front.

“Because I have found the water,” he said, and I also looked at the front and saw the in the body.

“How come you found it so short?”

“I heard his sound.” I looked at him weirdly.

“You what?”

“I have heard his sound.”

“I couldn’t hear it at all.”

“Well…I also don’t know the reason for these sounds. Particularly, I could hear low sounds very clearly though they are dim but still clear.”

“You have strong hearing power.” I said to him and he nodded. “Then you could have dodged his attacks.”

“I could have, but before I could have done that, he had attacked me and the second time I didn’t have so much power to dodge.” I didn’t say anything further.

He went towards the water body and for water moment I thought that I saw something in the water which was water colour only. I looked at Shaurya, he must have heard something but he was all calm. I guess he didn’t hear anything and it was just my imagination.

“Aren’t you thirsty?” I came out of my imagination and now that he had asked that question. I also feel that I need to drink water. I went towards the river. It was very clear like a crystal and one could see its reflection, but one of the things which was bothering me was that I wasn’t able to see its end. There wasn’t a ground.

“This river is very deep.”

“I can see that. But don’t worry, you just drink the water.” I looked at him and I also drank some water and from the corner of my eyes I saw something was rushing in our way and I looked at Shaurya, who was calm. I am unable to understand what is wrong with him. He away told me a while ago that he can hear those sounds which are dim and far away, but here it is very near. He also is not taking any action at all. What is he waiting for?

In a blink, that thing came out of the water and for a few seconds it was in the air before something flew in the air and after cutting it into two pieces, returned and at a glance I could see what it was and it was a, deity knife. I looked at Shaurya, who was calm.

“You know this.”

“I have told you that I can hear voices which others can’t. I knew that it would be over here.”

“What is it?”

“I don’t know but I know it was dangerous.” I looked at the half piece which was on the land and it was just like the water, crystal clear that is why we couldn’t see it. Suddenly, Shaurya held my hand and dragged me back.

“What is wrong? We are safe now.” He left my hand and he looked at me.

“I am afraid that there is more trouble ahead and I am not at all safe right now.” I couldn’t understand his words at all until more of the previous kinds of fishes came out of the water and attacked us. They were not the ones which can be counted on the fingers, including the toes.

“These are fish. Maybe if they fall on the ground then they won’t survive.” I also hope the same but it was the opposite of our expectations. They were attacking towards only. I looked here and there but I couldn’t find anything which could help me right then.

“Let’s see if this knife can meet my expectations.” I looked at him weirdly before he went into that field and that made me realize what he was talking about. I looked around and didn’t think about anything but the branch of the tree. I know I shouldn’t really break a branch, but this was the only way. I also entered the battlefield and after about half an hour later, the ground and the water, which were green and colorless respectively, were turned red.

“Finally, we are done with them.”

“The king is still left.” He said and I was confused and that was cleared when from the water a big dragon came out who had the same crystal body.
