From the time we brought this woman back with us. She was unconscious and Prashant was taking care of her. Though I am in my alert mode, I am somewhat losing my alert mode when it is coming over this girl but I can’t let myself down at all. My eyes went over her feet, which were full of mud. I don’t know the situation, but I guess whatever she was doing, I mean walking or running, she was doing it barefooted. I hissed a bit. I was making the fire alive so that we could be warm. Here the temperature is so weird. In the morning it would be dizzyingly hot and at night freezing cold. These fires are the ones which keep us alive, but sometimes the night is not so cold.

“What is wrong?” I heard his voice and left the stick that was in my hand. I looked at my hand and saw that in different places my hand was bruised. I sighed. It must have happened when I was trying to save her. I didn’t feel the pain at that time and one of the wooden skins was struck in my wound. I took it out, which was followed by my whimper and my hand was bleeding a bit. Someone grabbed my hand in a rash and that caused me some pain. “I am sorry. You are also bruised and you haven’t said a word,” he said.

“This is nothing. I am all alright.”

“Just leave these for me. I will do it.” I put my palm on his chest and pushed him back and took my palm back as it pressed my wound.

“I will do it.”

“Your wounds are still fresh, let me do it.” I shook my head. “Why do you have to be stubborn?”

“Because…” I looked at him. “Because I am born like this only.” He rolled his eyes at my answer while I chuckled.

“Very funny.”

“If it was, then you should laugh also.” He again rolled his eyes and then we heard some small noises and then I looked at the girl who was waking up. Prashant went back to her and I shook my head with a smile.

I think that his heart had got caught up already by someone.

I continued with my work and didn’t look at them but, in the conversation which they were having, I could hear them.

“Where am I and who are you?” That would be the natural question anyone would ask.

“I am Prashant and he is my friend Shaurya. But who are you and how did you end up in the hole?” I looked at her and found that her eye colour matched with her hair color and matched pink. She was beautiful but out of my league. I am not, but she is not my type. I don’t even know what my type is, but I know that she is definitely not my type.

“I am Princess Tiara. I was chased by some wolves in the forest and I didn’t know that someone had dug up the hole and, without me knowing, I was trapped in the hole. Thank you for your help.” I could feel the pleasure in her voice.

“Mention not, by the way, are you princess of this place?”

“I am; this is my place.” I don’t think that there must be any reason for her to tell some lie to us, but what if it is really a lie? I stood up and took out my duty knife and pointed at her and she was scared and on my wrist a hand landed.

“What are you doing?” I didn’t give him a glance but looked at the terrified girl in front of me.

“You had better say the truth young lady or else I won’t be merciful.” The guards who were down were back on their duty.

“I am saying the truth only.”

“What if, just to put us in trouble, you are lying and you are one of the people who the king sent you?”

“Shaurya!!” I heard his voice but I ignored it.

“My brother didn’t send me them. I said that I was being chased by the wolf.”

“You sure are something. Why would your brother leave you all alone in this dense forest and yet he sent none of the people?” She was terrified at knife point but was still saying the same thing again and again.

“I will be asking you for the last time.”

“Shaurya stop it. You are terrifying her.” Prashant pushed me back. I looked at him and turned away and sat on the stone.

“I am sorry for his behaviour.”

“He is scary.”

“He is not like that. He is good at heart.”

“I don’t think so. Was he holding the deity knife?”

“He was.”

“Oh god his life is in danger.”

“We know that.” I said to her and Prashant put her hands around her and I looked back. I went out of that place and sat on the ground and looked up and found the stars and after a few minutes I laid down. Though it was cold, it felt like it was warm despite having something inside my heart which was heavy. I closed my eyes and was enjoying this coldness.

“Aren’t you feeling cold?” I smiled and opened my eyes and saw him looking at me.

“What are you doing over here? Has your princess slept?”

“She is sleeping. Here.” He throws a fruit in the way which I caught.

“Why are you giving me this?”

“Aren’t you hungry?”

“What if I say that I am not?”

“What is your mood swinging today?”

“I don’t know. I literally don’t know. There was something inside my heart or inside me which reacted violently when she said that she was a princess. I can’t trust anybody if that person is related to the king.”

“What if I was related to the king?”

“I looked at him with confused eyes.”

“What are you saying? You are here with me and want to go back to your home just like I want to there, how come you are related to him.”

“I know that, but what if I was?”

“Then you are too good to be his relative.” He let out a chuckle and I joined him and I looked at him and he was also lying just like me.

“It is getting cold over here.”

“I know that.”

“But this also feels good.”

“Indeed.” I looked at the star and started to remember him. If he was here, then I think we would have plenty of a chance. That day was the most horrible day of my life.

“What are you thinking about?”

“I am thinking about someone who was so close to me. His departure from my life is something which is engraved in my heart and none person can wipe that away. My heart is heavy and I want to say many things but everything has ended in a blink.”

“Like you, I have also lost my favorite people. I was close to them but now they are not here with me.” I sighed.

“I relied on him, but after his departure, I felt that I couldn’t move on if he remained with me like a ghost, so I dared and moved him into my memory where he still smiles and does all the kinds of stuff which we both like to do. I am just grateful.” I yawned and he chuckled.

“Memories are beautiful and can only take place in our mind. I have also stored them over there only. I hope that they never break free. And maybe we should leave inside as I want to sleep.” I smiled a bit.

“Then let’s go.” We both went inside and saw the girl sleeping.

“It would be better that you don’t react violently in the future.” I nodded in his way. I started to take my place.

“Wait, you haven’t done anything about your wound.” I looked at my hand and then waved at him.

“It doesn’t hurt now, so it is okay and they will eventually heal.”

“No they won’t, just apply some medicine to them.” I sighed.

“Alright.”

“Come let me help you with them.” I didn’t say anything and let him do what he wanted to or else I thought that it would be hard for me to apply the medicine which he had prepared.

“You are still best at medicine.”

“My grandfather was also the best; I have got some knowledge from him.”

“So your family deals in the field of medicine?”

“My family have been dealing with medicine for so many generations.”

“Then I guess you would also…” He cut me off.

“No, I won’t be dealing in those things. I won’t put this forward anymore.” His every word was aggressive. I don’t know what is wrong with him, but I know that this topic is sensitive to him. I withdrew my hand.

“No need to apply medicine. You should sleep now.” I said and he went away and laid down and in a few minutes he slept. I looked outside and saw the night which was outside. Tonight is beautiful and I don’t really have any sleep in my eyes. I should be sleeping but right now my eyes are not having sleep at all. I kept looking outside and I don’t know when I closed my eyes and that made me feel so very relaxed.

I woke up and saw that both of them were sleeping. I smiled. I stood up and went outside to stroll a bit and not to forget to take the deity knife. Who knows when the new problem comes and maybe on the way back I could fetch some of the fruit.

I strolled for a while and fetched the fruit and was on my way to get back to where I was and I could see the cave from the distance which was between us. Suddenly, everything started to get dark and I was in confusion until I looked upwards and saw the black clouds covering the bright sky and that had confused me.

It was so much brighter that moment and now it is all dark. What is going on? The next moment, I saw thunder which came with its sound. In a short period of time, it is now going to rain heavily. Weird.

I ignored it and started to walk away but something fell beside me which made me freeze in my way and when I looked at my side, it was burning and then I looked up and then saw another strike of thunder. I dodged it and rolled on the ground and the fruit got out of my hand and went far away from me. I stood up and was in great despair. I wiped away the dirt from my body. I looked around and was in amazement. I have heard thunder falling on the news, but seeing it in real life is kind of scary.

I again started to walk towards it to walk away and ignore it, but the road ahead of me was getting far away from me because another thunder fell in front of me and then it was coming fall rapidly. I dodged it and was in confusion because why they are attacking me, I can’t understand it.

They stopped abruptly and I thought that it was an end, but in the midst of the silence I heard a ring of arrival and that was happened. A giant came in front of me. Again a giant came in front of me and he had a thunder structure weapon which was having lighting around-it’s a weapon. Don’t tell me that he was the one who was attacking me. He pointed his weapon in my way and I guess the answer is he was the only one who had attacked me.
