Rion's POV To say I was in shock would be an understatement. Her words hit me like a bullet to glass and every single memory began to shatter one after the other. I just sat there stunned, unable to explain how I was feeling. Was it betrayal? Sadness? Fear? Regret? No, it was much more. There just isn't a word for it. There's just no way to explain how you would feel after realizing you had been lied to for twenty two years and the people you've thought were your family this whole time were actually just two kind people who saved you as an infant and raised you.
