“Do you really expect me to take your word for it?” I throw the question at him, my expression hardening.
“No, but I'm willing to prove it any way you want me to. I'll drag Isla here right now and ask her the truth about this so-called pregnancy. I'm pretty sure she only did this for attention.” He replied resolutely and I was satisfied with the decision.
