We immediately took the girls and climbed the staircase when the whistle blew. We could sense the dangerous aura leaking from vampires. This chase was not normal, just like the hunt from before.
Something else was brewing behind it. For a wolf, getting hunted in a chase is the biggest dishonour, and we wouldn't let it happen.
