Janet gulped the whole concoction Jayce brought her without complaining, but her face told it all. Her eyes teared up, and she quickly ran to the bathroom. Soon, the puking sounds could be heard in the room.
"Serves her right. Revenge complete." Jayce spoke satisfied while we waited for Janet to come, but I couldn't wait for long.
I grew worried about her and got up to check on her.
"Where are you going, princess?" Elijah asked when I stood up
"I am going to check on Janet. She doesn't seem fine. Jayce, you shouldn't have given her such a strong drink" I scolded Jayce before quickly going inside the bathroom.
