Jayce I growled when she sneakily pushed me away and made a run for it. I followed after, speeding to catch her as I watched her caramel-hued tail shoot up straight like an arrow as she ran, skipping the dirt beneath her paws. We jumped and crossed the stream, none of us falling behind, not even her as we did, diving straight into the canopy of large pine trees. The scent tickled my nose as I followed her trail, hoping to catch her scent more. I pushed myself more, but she quickened her pace when she sensed me getting closer.
