Professor Maverick was already in the drama room when we arrived, flipping through white pages bound in a spiral alone in the room. As promised, Janet was with me, and he slowly looked up through his glasses when both of us entered the room.
"Ah, Sophia, you are here." He smiled before his gaze fell on Janet, "Oh, Janet is also with you, very well, we are in the middle of casting only, so, having her here is filling up one more character." he said and signaled us to take our seats.
"Firstly, how were your exams?" He asked with a polite smile like an encouraging professor.
"They went well, professor." I answered and Janet gave somewhat the same reply. I was glad she didn't go in depth and tell him how we are only happy about the 'went' part.
