Chapter Fifteen Signs The morning of the flight to Denver, I woke up early and laid in bed. The night before, I was up till one in the morning googling travel safety tips: put a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on your hotel door; don’t put cash in checked baggage, keep it with you in the carry on; lock your luggage even when you leave it in your hotel room; watch where your luggage is stowed under the bus, notice which compartment; don’t look at a map on the street, duck into a*****e instead.
