Chapter Six Blucifer Mitch calls Saturday morning. The boys are headed to some kid’s birthday party at a Laser Tag arcade on my side of town. Mitch, Lewin, and Archie drop by for half an hour before heading to the arcade and, predictably, Mitch talks about the boys. He worries they are over-scheduled, then absolves himself of his own accusation: they don’t complain, they love piano lessons, he’s taking piano lessons too, he always wanted to learn and now he can practice with them, fifteen minutes a day, and maybe they’ll all learn the cello next, and they usually have Brazilian drum dance class on Saturday mornings but not today, it’s good for their coordination, soccer’s over for now, but swim lessons during the week.
