Breakfast was definitely an interesting experience.
So many people around, and they were loud too. I could sense the vampires right along with the humans. I’ve never been surrounded by so many vampires at once.
When I met Zoey last time, she lived on her own in a small flat. The move to this place was something that only happened in the last few years and I can see why.
After breakfast, I followed Kai to a room on the ground floor which he opened with a key from his belt. The place was packed with shelves and shelves of books and folders all over, and there were a couple of tables in the middle of the space.
Their, ‘library’ as he called it. Filled with information about supernatural creatures and magic apparently. Probably a far cry from the children’s books that used to be
