“What if he didn’t show up?”
“I just saw him, baby girl, he loves you, he is here.” Tyler reassures.
“And if he hadn’t shown up, I’d have killed him.” Jared exclaims.
“Dad! that doesn’t make me feel better.”
“Jared, shut up! Don’t scare her more than she is.”
Today is Mya's wedding day, and to say that both Tyler and Jared are a wreck, would be an understatement; Tyler more than Jared, as he refuses to believe that his little girl is ready to leave their house and go out in the world with a husband and the possibility of a new family.
“Princess, everything will be alright, come on, time to walk down that aisle,” Jared says, holding his daughter’s hand.
“Dad, Dad, I love you two so much! Thank you for this and for everything. Thank you for my life and for everything I have to live. I couldn’t have asked for better fathers.”
Smiling both Jared and Tyler embrace their beautiful daughter holding her close. "I love you." Both say at the same time.
"Now let's get you down that aisle before your future husband thinks 'you' didn't show up." Jared says while grinning.
Tyler elbows Jared roughly in the gut as Mya's eyes widen.
"Dad!!"
"Jared!"
Laughing Jared embraces both his life's precious joys and holds them close. "I am just kidding. Come on. We got a wedding to start."
