CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVEThe ‘surprise’ attack on the north-eastern seaboard and the eastern border of Bucansi failed. The Avadierish met far stronger defences than they originally thought possible and found that their combined efforts resulted in very little damage to the Bucansians.
Some areas took casualties, but overall, the Bucansians held their ground—so it was decided that the attackers would pull back and cut their losses.
