Soon Star Ave was coming into view and I knew that home was not far away. As she pulled onto Star, something strange shook the Jeep and we pulled into the gas station on the corner and called my Mom to come out and bring Tom or someone to look at it. She arrived soon after and had Paul with her. He looked high and low and everywhere between, yet Paul could not find out what’s making it shake on us.
I felt rain drops fall on top of me and I ran up onto the sidewalk near the stores entrance and was joined a few minutes later by everyone else. It didn’t last long admiringly, just a couple minutes’ worth of sprinkles.
