As soon as she saw the message, she panicked. She couldn’t get how Josh knew about all this mess. She was trying to come up with good reason for all this but she couldn’t. And just then she heard knocking over the door. She went to open the door; josh was shocked to see her. In this entire ruckus, she forgot that she didn’t wear anything after coming from the shower. Josh quickly turned back. Though they sleep together, they cuddle but he hasn’t seen Babi like that. He felt current flowing through his whole body. Babi realized what she has done. She quickly went inside the bathroom and wore her night dress while thinking about what just happened!

She felt like she should dig the whole and bury herself there. Even after waring the clothes, she couldn’t mutter the courage to go out. After a long time she went out. Josh was sitting over the chair near her study table.

“I am really sorry. I had something in my mind. I forgot that I was just out of the shower.” Babi said to josh without making an eye contact.

“What made you so distracted that this happened? Like I’ve seen you at worst but this was first time.” Josh went on while making shocked Pikachu face.

“I said sorry. As you said it was first time so it won’t happen again. Things happen, get over it.” Babi said with the stern voice.

This threw josh off a little bit but he thought it ok. “Where were you today? We were supposed to meet at the swimming pool. You didn’t come and even after that you are giving me attitude!”

“Something urgent came up.”  Babi told him.

“Like?”

“I went to Megan’s. She needed me.”

“You could have told me. I was waiting for you.  You should know tournament is right in the corner.”

“I am sorry.” Babi gave him reply while giving him juice.

There was a long silence after that. Josh was staring at Babi as if he really wanted to ask something.

Babi looked at him.  She knew that he knows something. Still she decided to cover it with brashness.

“So you are never going to tell me that you went to a date with Andreu.” Josh came near her and grasped her with both arms tightly and pulled her near him. His mind was exploding, not with the fact that she went there but because she is trying to hid that with him.

“I thought you will say something to Andreu like you said to Matt. I didn’t wanted any stupid fight”

“So you will not tell me about it?  Babi you know that I like you and I can sense that you also have something.”

Yea I know that but what if we don’t work and we break up in the future. I cannot imagine us being friends again after all that.”

Josh turned around the wall. He wanted take another step but deep down he knew that she was right. He controlled his emotions and turned back with smiling face and said, “ok let’s forget all this and leave all this”. After saying this he hugged and patted his back. Babi realized that he doesn’t know the best part of the story. She was happy about it because she doesn’t know what he would dislike the most Andreu touching her or Joshua beating him?

“I ordered pizza for us because I know your father is not in town and you haven’t eaten anything.”

“No one knows me better then you do.” A beautiful smiled fleshed over Babi’s face. She knows no matter what happens with her, she will always have Josh by her side and that’s what she is afraid of. Loosing this beautiful friendship if she tells him that she also wants to give it a try but she is not sure if it’s just an infatuation or love

        Babi asked him, “when does tournament starts?”

“It’s next to next month. We have time but our new swimming teacher hasn’t yet joined!” josh told her with worried face.

“Don’t worry it’s going to be ok.”

“Yea I know”

           They talked till they lost track of time while lying down over the bed. They both were very tired today.  Josh looked at Babi, her eyes were closed, and she was already in the dream land. She looked like an angel to him. He quickly hugged her from behind. In no time he was also sleeping.

            In the middle of night, he suddenly heard thud sound! He quickly woke up and went to if there was something. But he couldn’t find anything. He thought it was just his imagination. Then he went to sleep again.

In the morning, he woke up before Babi. He wanted to wake her up but he couldn’t because I looked like she was sleeping with such an ease. So he left her a note

“GOOD MORNING! SORRY I HAD TO LEAVE. I GOT CALL FROM HOME BYE…”

Babi woke up at nine thirty and saw the note.

              At 10 in the morning, she called Joshua to check up him. He didn’t pick but she was getting late for her afternoon classes and she had to go to Megan’s.

She went to her place only to find out she was still sleeping.

“Megan wake up! Wake up! We have class at twelve.”

“Mm! What’s the time?” Megan asked while rubbing her eyes

“It is ten thirty. Wake up now” we have to leave.

“TEN THIRTY!” Megan quickly woke up. “How did I sleep over?”

“Well you did!” now just get ready quickly.

Megan rushed towards washroom and got ready in haste. Then they both went on the way to school.

“So how was the date yesterday?” Megan asked her with a very naughty smile.

Suddenly Babi was very angry. “Don’t even get me started about that. You cannot imagine how bad it was”

“Why what happened?”

Then Babi started elaborated everything that happened yesterday. Megan was shocked. She quickly hugged Babi.

              To lighten up the mood, Megan said, “Well if you think, Joshua is also not a bad option.”

“Stop it! I am not looking for a boyfriend. Besides he is just Josh’s brother for me”

“You sure about that?”

Babi couldn’t reply quickly but she said, “Yea!”

    Then they both went to the class.

After long day of classes till six, Josh, Megan and Babi were tired.

      Josh had to take off immediately because he had to go with his father for some time.

So he told Babi, “I didn’t tell you but I am going out with my father for few days.”

“Ok, is it only you and uncle?”

 “Joshua should also go but he has been sleeping all day and not waking up. So we are not sure.”

Suddenly she remembered she couldn’t get in touch with him all day. She is worried about but still she can’t ask him about Joshua.

“What happened? I am sorry I didn’t tell you whole day but I have to go.”

“Aaa…… its ok. Just call me when you leave.”

“Ok bye and take care of yourself.”

                                 Then he left and then Megan asked Babi “is your father back?”

 “No! Not yet. But I think he is going to be back soon.”

“ ok then we are going to have fun tonight”

“What fun? let me go home. Don’t you know we have so much to do”

“Please! Let’s go. I promise it is last time”

“Babi said yes while rolling her eyes”

JOSHUA POV

I woke with bad body ache. The bruises of my knees were bad. I didn’t even clean the blood. I limped towards the washroom to see my face. I saw a cut near my forehead. I took out the first aid box from the drawer and started to clean my wounds. Next thing I heard was knocking at the door.

“Coming!” somebody was knocking very badly. I opened the door only to find out it was mum.

“What were you doing in there? Do you have any idea what is the time right now? Your dad has been asking for you since morning? And first of all what’s with that face? What happened there?” she started firing me with questions even before entering the room. Then I looked at the watch, it was 9 of night. But I know why I slept this much.

                                      Speaking of that, I abruptly saw the sleeping pills lying near the bed. I forgot to hide them, s**t. My parents don’t know I need sleeping pills to sleep. I quickly kicked it inside the bed.

“Calm down! I am ok. I just fell from the bike.”

“Ugh! Sit let me clean them.” Then she went in the washroom to get med box.

She cleaned all of them while complaint a lot about how I should be? I always give her headache and all that again. I chose to listen quietly, because it was nothing new. Then she got up told me to come down and have dinner.
