1872 Words
“MATE”, Steven said. Jason’s eyes went wide, while Tom had an ok face. But Sara had a happy face, she had a big smile. But then Blossom felt a sharp pain in her back. All of a sudden, you heard a snap. “Aaaahhh”, Blossom screamed. Steven’s eyes went wide and he had a worried look in his eyes. “Eva, what is going on”, Blossom said. Then one of her legs did the same. Snap, you heard and Blossom lost her balance. Then Eva’s mind clicked she know what was going on. “Quick, get her outside”, Eva said. Steven picked her up and went to the back door. Then Blossom’s other arm went. Snap. Blossom was screaming loudly. Steven put her down in the grass. He looked over at Eva with a worried face. Then Eva told everyone what was going on. “She is changing for the first time. She is getting her power for the first time. Since she has not been around her own kind she has not got her wolf just yet, she still is just a human”. Sara did an ‘O’ shape with her mouth. Blossom’s bones were breaking so she could shift into her wolf for the very first time. Snap went the other leg. “Aaahhh, help me”, Blossom said. “Do not fight it, just let the paint in. It will go faster if you don't think about it”, Steven said. Jason’s head turned to Steven. Blossom did not say anything. All she could hear was her other hand breaking. “Steven”, she whimpered. Steven wanted to help very badly, but there was nothing he could do. But then Jason got something in his head. He walked over to Blossom. “Blossom, I want you to listen to the trees, hear the birds chirping in the background. Focus on my voice”, Jason said. Blossom was doing just what her father was telling her to do. She stops thinking about the pain and listens to the birds in the back. She listened to the sound of her father’s voice, and his breathing as he took in a deep breath. After that, it did not take long. Blossom was all done with the pain. And she was a full wolf. She lifted up her head and shook out her fur. She had an amazing color. She was a full white wolf with two spots on her. She had a line going down the top of her eye to the bottom, making it look like a scar. Then she had one spot on her tail with a little bit of red as well. She sat down on the grown and looked at everyone. They all were in an AWE mood. They have never seen a wolf like that. They are very rare in the world. No one knows what to say. They all just stood there thinking. Then out of nowhere, Steven said what everyone was thinking, “Beautiful”. Her dad looks at Steven and instead of yelling at him, he smiles at Steven. Steven walks over to Blossom and puts his hand on her head and felt her smooth, amazing fur. He looked at everyone else. “Do you mind if I show her something? I will not be long I promise to bring her back”, he said. Tom and Sara look at each other Jason just keeps his eye on Steven. After a minute of waiting, Jason gives him an answer. “You make sure to keep an eye on her. I want her back here in one peach”. Steven smiled at him and looked back at his mate. He took a few steps away from her and started to shift. Blossom could hear his bones doing the same thing hers did. But Steven was not screaming when his was breaking. After a minute, there was a wolf standing on all fours, he was a big black wolf, with a little bit of white around his one eye. Blossom looked at him for a while just taking in every detail she could. Steven walked up to her and put his forehead up to hers. Breathing in her scent, of violet. Steven started to walk to the wood next to the house. But Blossom was not following him just yet. She looked from Steven to her dad. He smiled and motioned his head to Steven as if letting her know he was ok with it. She got up and followed Steven into the woods. When they were no longer seeing her father and her mom’s parents they sprinted into a run. Steven knows this one good place that he could show her. He would go there when he needs to be alone or just think about things. It was a nice river with lots of trees around it. There was a nice big rock that you can sit on and look at the river as it runs down a little hill. When Steven started to slow down so did Blossom. She was looking around, everything was just so amazing. When Seven stopped in front of her. She almost ran right into him. She stops running and just looked at Steven. Steven moved out of the way so she could see the river in front of him. Her eyes had a sparkle in them as she looked at everything. Steven went and jumped onto the rock. He motions his head for Blossom to come up as well. She did and once she did she saw a town just below her. She looked at Steven and made a howl. It echoed a little bit. But what Blossom did not expect was more wolves to howl back at her. She was smiling on the inside. She did not turn her head back around until she heard Steven’s voice again. “You know they are saluting you. They are welcoming you to the pack. They already like you”, he said. When Blossom turned around she saw that he was sitting on the rock with nothing on. She turned her head back around to look at the view. Steven laughed at Blossom’s reaction. “Hey, you don't have to be shy. I will keep my legs closed. Just come sit next to me”, he said, patting the space next to him. She hesitated at first, then she gave him a warning look. He put his hand in the air as he surrenders. Then she walked on all fours over to sit next to him. She looked out over the cliff to all the lights that were on. She felt a hand ruffling her fur. She looked at him. Can you shift back so I can know what you are saying or talking about? I can't read your mind just yet”, he said. She narrowed her eyes at him. Then shook her head no. Steven got up for a minute to get something that was behind the rock. He came back with a blanket in his hand. “Will you do it if I let you use this”, he said, holding it up. Blossom still was not sure if she should. But she took a breath and let her head fall to look at her paws. Steven steps back onto the rock and walks back to sit next to her again. He whispered in her ear. “All you have to do is think of yourself back in your human form”, he said. She gave him one last look then she started to think of herself in her human skin. Then she was a human sitting on the rock with her knees up to her chest. She looked over at Steven. “Give me the blanket”, she said. He really wants to see how far he can get. But he did not want to push her buttons so he put the blanket around her shoulders. She pulled it around her some more so it was covering her more. “So what do you think of the view”, Steven said. Blossom was not sure if he was meaning the view of the pack of the one that was sitting next to her. She keeps her eye on the pack. “It is good, the light makes it look like stars”, she said. Steven did not say anything to her. He was just watching her every move. After a while, she was starting to feel his stair burn into the side of her head. She looked over to her right to meet those green eyes. She gave him a nice warm smile. They sat there for the longest time. Talking here and there, Steven was trying to get to know her. There was some question he would not ask. But there was one that she could not really answer. All She told him was “I am not sure, my mom never really told me anything about all of this. After a while, it was getting very dark so they decided that they should head back to the house. Steven got up and jumped off of the rock. Blossom was not sure if she really wants to move. But she did finally get up and step off of the rock. They walked a little bit into the woods, and Blossom made sure that Steven keep his eyes up front. Because she left the blanket there for next time. “Can I please turn around for a mint”, he said. “No, I have no clothes on and you are not there yet. I just meet you today. So your eyes stay up front till I shift”, she said. He let out a small growl. When they got to a nice stop in the path, Steven could hear bonds breaking. Then he heard a growl. He turned to find a beautiful white wolf standing on all fours in front of him. He was not happy that he could not touch his mate the way that he wanted to. “Still not fair, I wanted to watch you shift”, he said. Blossom sent him a glare and buffed out a breath. Then she sat down and waited for him to shift. He turned around all the way just for a minute. Soon as Blossom saw him she tried to look somewhere else but, at him. “It is not like you have not seen anything”. Blossom rolled her eyes at him and started to walk more. She would leave him here if she had to. Blossom started to hear bones breaking. Then she felt something brush up against her neck. She looked to find Steven standing close to her. Bella took off in the direction of the house having Steven catch up to her. He did good and got to her in less than 15 minutes of running. When they could start to see a house come into view they start to slow down...
