My Parents’ Wedding Before heading further down the staircase, I pulled the digital camera from my mother’s purse—after assuring myself that the Torstein was still safely inside—and took several snapshots of the cathedral’s roof covered with tarp. It had not looked like that for quite a few years now, so I figured that if the pictures actually latched onto the SD card for the journey home, that was pretty solid proof that I had truly traveled time.
