  _Alina's POV_   We traversed through the dense forest, the car navigating the narrow, uneven paths. Alaric walked alongside the group. He occasionally glanced back at the car, ensuring we were following closely.   The trees grew thicker, and the undergrowth more tangled as we continued our journey. After some time, we reached a small stream. I could hear the gentle sound of water flowing over rocks. Alaric stopped and turned to the driver, signaling him to halt the car.
