As time passed, I began to notice something unsettling about my lessons with Amora. The court etiquette and family history she taught me didn’t always align with the behavior which I observed from other nobles at banquets. At first, I dismissed these inconsistencies as minor mistakes. However, as they continued to occur, my intuition told me that they were not accidental.
One afternoon, during swordsmanship and self-defense training, Katie praised my progress. She was strict but fair, and it was clear that she loved teaching. During our break, I seized the opportunity to ask Katie about court etiquette.
