About the AuthorG. IAN SMITH WAS BORN in Glasgow and is still there. He enjoys being creative, which is just is well, as he’s an artist, a writer, and has dabbled in theatre. He also made a video recording of Princess Anne from only six feet away. Ian wrote and recorded a play for radio, Herod’s Last Night, and his modernised re-telling of the Gospels, JOSH, was published in 2010. He has illustrated about twenty books, but as far as he knows, nobody’s coloured them in. However, one of them can be found in the library of Iona Abbey. He also has the distinction of impersonating Charles Dickens in his solo performance of A Christmas Carol. To cap all this, for several years Ian studied theology, which is far more exciting than most people think, and resulted in him ghost-writing a recent work
