A Wicked Sense

262 Words
My fear suddenly kicked in, I immediately felt my stomach go up, my heart pounding at my throat, my limbs feeling numb. “This is too much for me to handle!”. I reached the ground and suddenly, I Jumped out of bed. I was feeling very hot like I had a fever, It felt like I was sweating profusely. My mom was next to me and got alarmed by me dashing out of sleep. She yelled, “Oh heavens above! I’m so glad you woke up! How are you dear? How’s your head? Why are you so pale? You look like you’ve seen a ghost!”. I groaned a little and said, “What happened to me?” then my mother said that I had hurt my head badly and that I had to get admitted. Whilst the conversation, the doctor came in with a delightful facial expression and told my mother and me that I had no bad head injuries and that I was going to be “A-okay”. After the news, I felt super relieved and felt joyous, though I still didn’t understand what that dream was about but I just shrug it off because it’s not like it’s impossible to have such dreams now and then. I hugged my mother again and asked where father was. Mother replied that he had waited for a long time to see you wake up but it was compulsory for him to attend his daily job.
