A week later, Amy was on her way down the stairs when Jeff stepped out from his apartment. When he saw her he said, “Hi, Amy.”
“Hi Jeff.”
“Are going shopping?”
She giggled. “No, just for a walk, I have been sitting on my ass all day making reports.”
“Oh, what do you do for a living?”
“I work in a marketing company. What about you?”
“I’m retired. I used to be an actor.”
She was surprised. “Aren’t you a bit young to be retired?”
He locked his door and they walked down together. “I was in adult movies, and your career is pretty much over once you hit thirty.”
She held the door open for him and when he walked past her he said, “I hope I haven’t shocked you.”
“Well, I wasn’t expecting meeting a real p**n actor today.”
He smiled at her, showing white even teeth
