“So, everyone, what’s next?” Rick asked as we exited a diner on the outskirts of Hays, Kansas. “It’s 5:30 right now. If we push through, we can arrive in Denver around midnight. That assumes we don’t stop.” “Do you think we could not stop for six hours straight?” I demanded. “We’ll need a bathroom break for sure.
