Second Chance

Right as the door to the bathroom opened everything froze. In front of me stood a man that was six feet tall. He has blonde hair that looks almost like snow. His eyes were the same gold and silver in his wolf form.

I can see how ripped he is through his white shirt that hugs his body. Snow is trying so had to take over but I keep her back.

“Mate”

He says starring into my eyes. Everyone in my bar just gasps. I take a step back and can see the hurt in his eyes and Snow starts whining so I block her out. Then say to my new mate.

“Look here buddy you should know that you are my second chance.”

He growled at the thought of someone else touching me. I just ignore the growl and continue.

“I found my first chance mate about three hours ago. He had already been marked by someone else so I rejected his ass. Also I am on the path of revenge.”

His eyes softened when I took a step forward as I told him. He then asked.

“What are you wanting revenge for?”

“My name is Elise and that is none of your business. What’s your name and also you will need to pay for the door you broke.”

People all around us gasped as I said that last part. But he just looked taken aback from me telling him to pay.

“The name is Arrow and of course I will pay you back. I do have enough money being an alpha and all”

Arrow said thinking I would be impressed. Snow was begging me to tell he why we wanted revenge but I just ignored her.

“Ok, you can leave the money on the counter. I will take my revenge first then come to you so we can be together because this is my problem to deal with.”

“What! But we are mates and I need you by my side why not just let me help?”

We were talking as we headed up to my room. ‘Ellie please just let our mate help us’ Snow was pleading with me. ‘How about i make a deal with him. Basically stating that if I can’t take down the rogue leader in 3 says then he can help’.

Snow started jumping again saying yes over and over again. Arrow and I made it to my room and I went over to start getting some stuff ready to kill that bastard rogue leader.

“What are you doing are you packing to move to my pack?”

Arrow looked confused. He walked over and took my hand, as our skin made contact electricity started though my hand. I turn around to face Arrow.

“No, I have a deal for you. If I cannot defeat the rogues leader in 3 days then I will tell you my story and let you help me take revenge.”

“What? Are you joking my wolf Zack and I need the both of you now”

“Deal or no deal Arrow”

I practically pleaded for him to take the deal. He let out a sigh and looked me straight in the eyes.

“Deal but please don’t make me wait to long I don’t know how long I can keep Zack from losing it and taking it out on my pack.”

I nodded and leaned forward. Right as our lips touched my best friend Mel bursted through the doors.

“f**k girl is this your mate”

“What the f*****g hell Mel why can’t you ever knock before you enter my room”

I yell at her and Arrow chicles and kisses my on the cheek. I blush. He then whispers in my ear.

“3 days. I will see you then my beautiful mate.”

With that he leaves to go back to his pack. I glare daggers at Mel before saying.

“Yes he is my mate. I will be gone for 3 days so you will be in charge. If I find out you are slaking off you will not be living here anymore.”

Mel nods as I finish packing up my stuff. Once done packing I head out and start tracking that asshole rogue leader.

~2 1/2 days later~

It has been almost 3 days and Snow has been complaining about not being with our mate. I managed to track down and kill at least ten rogues as well as find their boss.

Right now I am waiting for the leader to come out of an abandoned warehouse. Snow is getting annoyed at how long that bastard is taking.

Right as the doors open I feel a needle go into my neck and everything goes black.

~Arrow’s POV

It has been almost 3 days and I have yet to hear from my beautiful mate. Zack and I have been snapping at the smallest mistakes that my beta Collin has made. Collin knows that I met my mate and made a deal with her.

‘We should have never left her you prick’

Zack has been pissed at me since I took the deal she made and gets more mad then I do. Right now we are on an alpha meeting with 2 other packs trying to make an alliance.

The alpha of Blood Fist is trying to set me up with one of his daughters but all he is doing is pissing me off. I have told him that I have a mate. He doesn’t believe me because he has yet to meet Elise.

Where as the alpha of Shadow Star is trying to sit the other alpha up before I rip his head off.

I stand up and am about to leave my office because the alpha of Blood Fist brought his daughters with him to the office. I reach the door and feel dizzy and a prick in my neck.

‘Mate. Mate needs us know. Go to her she is hurt’

The alpha’s rush to me as the can tell something is wrong. Collin escorts the daughters out and I say.

“If you want me to sign the peace treaty then you will help me find my mate she is in trouble and needs help. Her name is Elise and she was looking for the rogue leader.”

The alpha’s look at each other then look back at me and nod. They start to link their men and head out to find Elise. Collin comes back in and helps me to my room because I can’t stand up properly.

“What is going on Arrow, why are you like this?”

“My mate and your future Luna is in trouble. She must have been injected with something and it’s effecting me. I don’t knows how though because we haven’t marked her yet”

Collin nods as he places me on my bed then leaves to go get his mate Cassandra, the pack doctor. ‘Hang in there Elise we will save you and get you back’, both Zack and I think.
