A LUNA'S VENGEANCE

Chapter 1

Aurora's POV

The moon was full the night they took everything from me.

Not just my crown. Not just my name.

The mate I loved took everything from me and the throne I was born to bleed for, and they left me in the snow to die.

They thought the cold would finish what their betrayal started.

They were wrong.

Because wolves don't die in winter.

They get hungry.

The wind cut through the pines like knives. I could still taste iron on my tongue, still feel the ghost of his hands pushing me down. I could feel the pain on my feet not just the pain but the betrayal the stung like a deep s***h of wound. I never thought my life would be like this. Never thought I could experience a betrayal this real especially from my mate .

Three months. Three months of running, healing, and learning how to be alone.

I decided to lay low like a predator waiting for the perfect time to capture it's prey. I left before the could execute their plan but the found out and chased me making sure to permanently erase my existence. But they failed because eventually the moon goodness had other plans for me and had given me a second chance .

I escaped and fled through the help of my father trusted Ally who found out about their plot. While they rejoiced over my death I used that time to regain my strength and rebuild from scratch.

Now it's time I tell the whole story from my side . It all started two days before the full moon anniversary every where in the pack house was bustling with activities . I was so overjoyed I was the new luna though my heart still ached from not been able to ascend the throne as they were my father's wishes but it's seems the people needed an alpha male not an alpha female . I didn't have a problem with my mate been the Acting Alpha.

He was kind, Caring , sweet anything a lady would want in a mate but I didn't know that everything was a petty charade meant to make me loose my stand I was literally vulnerable when it comes to him. But not any more . Back to my story. That day I decided to give him an impromptu visit I didn't tell him . When I got to his office I wanted to enter inside when I heard hushed voices and I accidentally heard the word killing out of curiosity I decided to listen.

Alpha are you sure our plan is going to work you Know the Luna is not an easy fish to take down she has the fierceness of her father even if she doesn't show it . -Leonardo ( Ronaldo's beta). I was stunned I knew that voice and I knew exactly the we have only one Luna which is me that means the one they were planning to kill was me . I couldn't believe my ears my heart was shattered my own mate planning to kill me . I didn't rush in like others would I stayed and listened.

I Know what you are scared of Leonard and trust me I have everything under control . Her death is going to seem as natural as possible. It going to look like she died from a heart issues and when I break it to the pack I will have Clara our pack doctor to confirm these you know she's always been on our side. -Ronalda said. And I could imagine the smug look on his face . I was stunned and surprised. With color draining from my face. I kept still and continued to listen.

What about Laura Alpha when you execute your plan. - Leonard asked .

When the time comes I will make her the Luna she is more easier to control than Aurora .- Ronaldo said

Alpha I thought you love Aurora it wasn't always like this what changed - Leonard asked

It wasn't always like this I really did love her but I can't be what I am meant to be with her in my way I believe if she's gone everything will rightly be mine she's not the only lady on the planet and I can easily replace her . Now enough with Aurora and let strategize our plan it must be done before the end of the full moon. Go and get everything ready. After he said that I knew I didn't have time to fidget or cry I would do that when my safety is guaranteed . Before he could open the door I sprinted down the hallway I knew I hard to leave as soon as possible and I knew it hard to be now not waiting or watching because the more I did the more my life is at risk .
