A Brief surprise flashed through my features as Jade suddenly wiggled around when we were at the entrance of the clinic. She opened her eyes her big blue eyes staring at mine. "Hey" she said in a chirpy tone. She began wiggling in my arms till I dropped her. She dusts of imaginary dust from her body and tugged at my hand. "Your already late, let's skip." Oh Oddly enough, I didn't find it strange at her antics. I was already questioning whether she was faking it or not seeing her flawless acting. I sighed. "Where do you want to go? "Her eyes brightened up as she entwined our fingers together. "Although it may sound girly I need to visit the mall. I'm um helping my brother move and he really sucks at interior designing" she said. I searched her eyes knowing deep within that she wasn't telling the complete truth. "Sure" A few minutes layer I found my self in a clothing and textile shop after she finished picking up all the furniture she needed. Know she was picking up some curtains. "Is this one okay? " she asked holding a dark red curtain with golden cursive designs on it. I smiled and searched through the rack. "This one will be okay. " I said picking out a light blue one with different patterns laced on it. "It's like your in love with blue" she said, her eyebrows furrowed. I smiled. She was right. Unconsciously blue had become my favourite colour. Pale icy blue, the same color of her eyes. I shrugged. "Sure maybe" I replied. She narrows her eyes at me and then shrugged. "I'm done for today. I'll ask Tony to pick up the rest. " she said with a nonchalant shrugged. I ignored my jealousy which came out as a result of the use of another person from the male species name from her luscious pink lips. "Lets go" she said all of a sudden tugging me out of the shop. "I could really use an ice cream and a walk in the park" she said. I found myself in the park paying for ice cream, a chocolate and vanilla for me. No doubt Jade was going to try to steal mine later. I paid the vendor, and turned around. Jade was no longer in the spot I left her on the bench. "She's so small, someone better help her" I heard the vendor said. I turned to look at him and follows his gaze to Jade who was thrown to the floor by a man twice her size. My eyes widened in fear. I threw the good ice cream away as I tried to save the man from whatever things that Jade got planned from him and threw a punch at his face. She looked at me obviously surprised. I drew her up with a hand, wrapping both my hand around her waist, nuzzling her hair and inhaling her scent. A faint thud was heard on the floor as Jade threw away her possible murder weapon before hugging me back. I felt.... contented. * It'd been almost two years since I'd driven a car. My parents obviously tried to convince me that there was no harm done in that contraception responsible for at least a death or two in a week but Jade's mood and the throwing of her car keys to me were all it took before I was driving her home. Her cheeks were flushed red in anger as we drove. Immediately I'd let go, her anger seemed to begin to boil since I didn't let her hit the man. And also wasted her ice cream. "Jade? " I called out taking a glance at the perfection sitting at my side, staring intensely at her phone. "Stop by at your place, I'll drive to the local gym, Tony got into trouble" she gritted out, her blue eyes blazing with anger. Once again I made a brief mental note not to get on her bad side so i could avoid potential death. "Are you sure? " I asked. She pondered a bit and then a small cruel smile played on her lips. "Nope. I'll drop you off after we go get cheese burger with my brother "once again there was no denying the instant relief I felt knowing that the Tony was no more than a brother to her. "Sure ". I drove to the gym and remembered something. The girl at my side was drop dead gorgeous and we were walking into a place filled with grime sweat and muscles or potential muscle bearers who'd probably eye a live piece of candy. I always hated the winter period, but suddenly I wished it came faster, so I could have an excuse to make Jade wear something that covers... everywhere. A unicorn onzie would do but then again she'd still look indescribable even in a garbage bag. I unbuckled my seatbelt with her and she turned to look me a brow arched. I shrugged and came down, pressing the unlock button as she slammed her door shut. She stomped into the gym, to the very surprising front desk. "Where's the i***t? " she asked the man. He had an amused grin on his face. "Nice to meet you to Jade. Your parents are really weird to name you Jade when your blue eyed-" "Joey " she warned he smiled and pointed inside. I glanced at her, suddenly fondling it weird that she was named Jade when there was nothing green a about her "Tim's office " he said. She marched away and I followed her, catching the mock salute the front desk guy gave me as he mouthed something. "Anthony" she shouted turning heads as she marched to the punch bag where a half naked brunette was throwing punches. He turned around and Jade kneed him in the stomach. "What the f**k, - Jade" he growled while she glared at him. I was a bit surprise how the big guy with four packs and muscles managed to feel such pain from a little girl like Jade then once again, it was Jade "Anthony you got into another fight with me involved didn't you? " she growled out. His angry demeanor seemed to fall as he stared at her giving her a dimpled smile. "Wassup little sister? " "Don't wassup me. Imagine what will happen to you when I call mom and tell her. " she said. She shoved her hand into her pocket and brought out her phone. His eyes widened and he leaped for it, she side stepped him making him stumble. "Just call dad" he said a frown on his face as he eyed Jade. "Dad will probably just hose you down, again, mom would be fun" "it's not like you'd even be there you'll be busy watching-" she shot him a glare and he kept quiet, glancing at me with a questioning look. A small smirk played on his lips as his blue eyes sparkled, something which I'd seen in the Three Collin siblings I've met so far. "Is this the guy? " he asked gesturing to me. Something I never thought would happen occurred. Her face turned a flaming shade of red as she glared at him. A faint blush invaded my cheeks as the thought of Jade talking to her family about me appeared in my head. "Besides aren't you supposed to be moving some stuff into your apartment? " he asked. I glanced at her questioningly. "Yeah.. um Raymond's apartment. He invited me to move in with him" she said. I noted the way her eyebrows creased, bringing into conclusion. She was lying. I studied her nervous expression, a huge change to her normal demeanour. Anthony snorted and walked to a bench pulling on the shirt which was laid on it and grabbed the bag. "Andrew, let's get you home Anthony and I need to talk" she said. I felt the need to protest but I had no say in it. Where we even friends? "Sure " She dragged her brother out, he following her willing. We piled into her car and she began driving. They began bickering like kids, Jade occasionally glancing at me with a small smile as we drew nearer to my house "Arent we going to grab lunch " "You'll eat with Ray and I" "Both of you are boring I'd like to chat a bit with your boyfriend" I choked on thin air while Jade's cheeks flushed red as she glared at her brother through the mirror. "Tony, I promise you, I'll tell Nico about your latest adventures with Amy and Max besides his my best boy-friend" she said. At least I was a friend but that friend Zone hurt quite a bit. Her brothers face paled first and then a smug smirk settled on it while I asked a question. "Who are Amy and Max? "
