"Exams were so hard" Jade said as she walked next to me. I rolled my eyes at her as she kept on ranting about exams.

"Look, on the good side there's only one more break and then we're counting days. " I said. She looked at me and scoffed.

"With the three idiots coming over, it'll be more like an eternity. " she said.

"Ho-? "

"Lets go somewhere, maybe some ice cream to celebrate goodbye hell -at least for some period of time" she said muttering the other part under her breath.

We walked to her car and I slid in the passengers seat.

"Nu-uh" she said. Opening the door and gesturing for me to come out. She threw the keys at me as I stood up before taking my seat.

"Watcha waiting for, God? " she asked. I looked at the keys in my hands hesitantly before I jogged around and slid into the driver seat, turning the ignition while she inputed the address on the GPS.

"Where to? " I asked. She bit her lips hesitance in her eyes as we stared at me.

"My apartment"

No offence but I expected Jade's apartment to be that of a slob, with mess everywhere but it was clean with a play pen at the side of the living room, the kitchen providing a nice view of the parlor and a small dinning area with four chairs.

"Welcome to my humble abode " she said plopping down on one of the red furniture. I took a seat just to feel something painful on my but.

"Ouch" I said as I stood up I looked at the couch and saw a toy race car. Jade blushed with a shrug. Before I could comment she stood up.

"Lemme get some snacks" she said. I nodded and she left. My phone dinged signalling a message.

Mom- Miss Nozzle said you left in her car ¤~¤

I grimaced quickly shoving my phone into my pocket before I made my way to the small dinning area.

It had two high chairs and two ordinary chairs, one of them pink and the other blue.

"So I'm not really ready to admit this but... " I turned to look at Jade.

"What? "

"I like you... A lot. It would have made a lot of sense if I brought you here to admit my little crush on you and then f**k you but na. " she looked calm. Unlike me who was freaking out.

Jade likes me.

She likes me.

She admitted her feelings for me.

"- so your my boyfriend now" she said finishing a long speech of none I heard of.

"I mean, you already belong to me. "

Jade asked me out. No demanded I go out with her. The need for telling someone arose in me but then I remembered. I had no friend.

Except Jade.

Who was now my girlfriend.

The thought of that put a small smile on my face because lets face it. Jade never ask for things. She gives you the sense that you have a decision when it's her pulling the strings.

"I would have loved to declare our -" I cut her off by slamming our lips together.

A great move on my part.

She kissed back, a small smile on her lips before she softly bit on my bottom lips. I opened my mouth and the fight for dominance began as she wrapped herself around me, her hands weaving through my hair while my hands supported her hips as her legs were locked around my waist.

She tasted like chocolate syrup and a hint of cherry bubblegum.

She pulled back and hesitantly I dropped her, Her eyes glazed over while she stared at me.

"Got to admit, your a good kisser"

I stared at Jade.

Her hair was held in a stylish messy bun that suit her as she wore a loose short and a sweatshirt, her face completely wiped of make up which brought about a question.

Why did she have huge eye bags.

"My mom said a good relationship is based on the truth.... I guess or something of sort. Well I need to tell you someth-"

"Jade, I'm back" a deep male voice said interrupting her along with two sets of giggles. I looked at the entrance where a man emerged from holding a little girl on his hand and a boy holding his hand as he walked inside.

"Mommy!! " they squealed at different times while the boy ran the girl struggled to get down to which the man dropped her while they ran clumsily.

To Jade.

"Hi my pretties" Jade said, fully welcoming the two children while I stared in disbelief.

The man had black hair and brown eyes with hard features while the kids looked exactly like Jade.

They both had her blue eyes which sparkled with mischief and The girl had a darker shade of blonde while The boy was almost a brunette.

The man finally looked at us and his features contorted to a cold exterior as he sent a glare my way.

"Who is he? " he snarled and jade smiled.

"Mine" was all she said. Both of us stared at the girl who had two children snuggled on her lap.

"Andrew meet my kids. Amy and Matt"

Both of the children stared at me questioningly before the girl broke into a huge smile

"Hello" she said a small grin exposing her teeth which weren't quite complete.

"Your children" I said shell shocked while the man was furious.

"Jade. You don't just go around telling someone about the twins. What if they leak to the paparazzi? " he asked. Jade's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at the man in surprise. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears.

Before I could do anything both her kids were hugging her and blabbering nonsense which seemed to have worked in calming her down.

"Andrew won't tell anyone" she said. Her blue eyes meeting my eyes.

"Your kids" I said looking at the children who hanged on Jade smiling as they talked to each other, praying desperately that this was a dream or at least I'd heard her wrong

She nodded.

I felt my lungs tighten as I stared at them. It made son's why she had huge mark dark bags underneath her eyes. She had two children to look after and a man.

"Jade-" the man began but I cut him off.

"I need some air. Some time to breathe and think or whatever order I'm supposed to do it " I say stumbling over my words as I stared at her.

I stood up, almost tripping but managed to catch myself on time as I slung my bag over my shoulder.

My head drifted to thoughts of anything except jade as I fumbled with my show laces before closing the door. Unfortunately the task was near impossible as every thought I had was of her and no one else.

I leaned on the wall next to the door as a shouting contest began between the two people in the room. I wanted to go in and defend Jade but I couldn't.

I was far to shocked for that.

"So, how was your outing? " my mom asked as I plopped on the couch, heartbroken at Jade's revelation.

"She told me I'm her boyfriend-" I said half heartedly.

"Thats great-"

"And introduced me to her kids" I finished. I took a glance at my mom to see her furrowing her eyebrows as she looked at me.

"Her kids?... what did you do" she asked. I glanced at her, my eyes brimming with tears.

"I ran away" I said, my voice croaked. She gave me a small smile before she walked and sat next to me.

I embraced her tightly, her flowery scent invading my nostrils as I looked at her.

"Your scared" she stated. I nodded into her neck as my body heaved with sobs.

"You really messed up though, she entrusted you with her secret and yet you ran away. It means she really likes you for her to tell you about them. " she said. I kept my mouth shot as I found comfort in her warm embrace.

"One of my children is a big baby" my mom said.

I flinched at her words.

"An advice to the big baby. Give her a chance to explain herself. She may not do it right away but she needs time or... "

"What? " I asked pulling back, she sighed and looked at me.

"This is kinda an easy way out" she said as she stroked my hair.
