“What were you doing out at night, anyway?” he continued in a hushed voice. “You know it’s not safe.”
Her continence changed dramatically. Pulling herself out of his grasp, she reached into her waistband and held up his bag of medicine. “You would know all about that,” she accused. It may not have been as dangerous as walking by herself, but not taking his drugs wasn’t exactly good for him, either. “You’re skipping doses.”
