It was during lunchtime and Jasmine was about to step out of her office to go eat at her fave eatery when another delivery man arrived.
“I have a package for Mrs. Forbes,” the man said.
The way he addressed Jasmine as 'Mrs. Forbes' made her heart flutter.
“That would be me,” Jasmine, who was already close to the door, responded.
The man approached her and gave her a lunch box.
“This is for you, ma'am.” He handed it to her.
Jasmine took it without a question, knowing who would have sent it to her. She took it into her office, pulled down the blinds and opened the box.
It was accurately what she loved, the same way she eats.
Not being able to contain her joy, she dialed Damon's number, and it rang for a long time, but there was no response.
