Chapter 12

I was working at my desk, my brother Thomas next to me helping me out, he's my right hand man. My name is Stefano Mandolza, I'm the head of the most feared mafia in the country. We have many gangs under our control, as I said my brother is my right hand man, he takes over when I'm not available and helps me with planning any attacks and checking cargo.

As I'm working Thomas turns to me "so big bro, I'll tell the guys to be prepared to go and take on that task in 5 days" I agree knowing I "yes, and also make sure the ones on the shipment don't mess up. Also....." before I could carry on someone was knocking on my office door, "come in, this had better be important" I call out very annoyed at being disturbed. 1 of my main workers walks in, he wasn't the smartest but he got the job done. put it this way, if he was to do a major job as such he shouldn't be left alone, he always goes too far. "Sorry boss but I think it is, and hope it makes up for disturbing you. Come on in kid" then he moves aside and the she stands my best dealer, honestly if I lost her I'd lose a lot of business her and Robert walk up to my desk, I knew by her smirk it was something good, she never fails. The only down side is her mouth "damn boss" she said then came the smart mouthed sarcasm "ain't you full of rainbows and sunshine?" then with a cocky attitude carries on "is that anyway to talk to your best dealer?" she knew she was my best, she was THE best. But all that is what I love about that kid, so seeing her always cheers me up, brightens the mood, 'she'd fit in perfect' I think to myself as she stares at me "oh Roxanna, great to see you" I say breaking out my trail of thought, "sorry we was just in the middle of planning an attack and the next shipments, so, to what do we owe the pleasure?" I ask her, "brought this weeks profits for ya, sold out again" she replies as she places the bag with lots of cash in on my table, 'she. is. UNBELIEVABLE!' I think to myself, Thomas's face though, it's hilarious "seriously?!" Thomas said stunned beyond belief, it's hard tpo get Thomas shocked so that was a bonus, "I don't play around" Roxanna says very cocky, my brother still stunned "no kidding kid, no kiddin", impressed I say "that is why you're my favourite dealer, cause you're the best, most effective and popular of them all. The cash you've brought as well, it's more than last week" "I may or may not of raised the price to get bigger profits without the customers realisin, those who have, my regs, don't care coz they know I give the righ stuff AND their main go to dealer" she says with slight mischief in her voice "what can I say? I'm pretty popular with 'em" she finishes again very cocky, Robert agrees "you're not wrong there" as if my brother Thomas heard my thoughts before, he says "really wish you would join us properly, then you could help with attacks and shipments" but once again her sarcastic side came out "yeah, coz I'd love to stand round for hours on end" knowing she could get a bit scrappy and looking tired I got to defuse this...somehow, "I get it, we'll have you on board 1 day" I say to her "Don't hold your breath boss" "how are you on your own stuff? You know what? As a congratulations, we'll give you more now for yourself" I say, I know exactly how to get through to people to get them on my side, no matter how long it takes I always win, but I've also got to reward her for how well she's done, "you don't have to boss" she says to me, I just reason with her explaining "no, I gotta look after my number 1 seller, I don't give the others any freebies. It's just you're so good, you bring in more profits than anyone else with the amount we give. Please, it's my way of saying thank you" "guess I could use a hit later, thanks boss" "no thank you Roxanna, Robert will bring another load for you to sell later tonight, we'll also raise your own stuff we give you" after that sentence she looked slightly shocked but only for a second then answers "wow, thanks boss" "no problem kid, you've earned it" I say to her as she leaves my desk and walks out of my office. Thomas follows Roxanna to my door, they exchange nods to each other then Thomas shuts my door, I couldn't keep my thoughts to myself now, especially after Thomas mentioning it "we need her on board, she's really good, we have to have her on board with the proper jobs" I said, Robert says "good luck with that" "shut up" I snapped, he always knows how to ruin a good mood.

I just walked out the station doors dreading what the day will bring, Alex is outside too "well, today's the day I start undercover" I say as I try to sych myself up for this I hear Alex "you ok man?" I turn to him "yeah man, I start the undercover on Roxanna today" "geez, I don't envy you right now" "me either" I reply "well, we've still got to get more evidence, don't know why. I mean, we already have enough to extend her sentence, but the chief wants more" Alex adds "you know what chief's like" I answer back. I start to walk away, Alex starts to walk into the station "yeah well, I'll see you later man" "see you later" I reply as I walk away.
