Chapter 17

~Tobias~

We entered my mom's treatment room, my mom is waiting by the bed ready, my dad was hiding behind the door out of Roxanna's sight but looking through the window that's on the door. As soon as we walked in and Roxanna clicked onto why my mom was by the bed and I practically dragged her to the room, "nope" Roxanna said straight and serious, then she turned on her heel and tried to walk out....key word being try here, as I had stopped her and got a hold of her. She then turned angry, like a switch had been turned she went from Bob Marley to Mr. Tee in point 5 seconds "get off, it's not happenin" she starts to raise her voice "yes it is, or I'll call the station and you'll get took away" I warn very sternly, "I hate you" she yells "it's for your own good, now don't make me handcuff you" I said to her as I keeping a firm hold on her to make sure she doesn't leave. Just then she went into a playful mood "oh T, didn't know you felt that way. I'm all up for fun an games, but I'm jus not interested, sorry dude" she says playfully, I sighed.....this girl is mentally draining me, she giggled as I sighed.

"That's it" I said as I lifted her up and threw her over my shoulder, Roxanna starts punching at my back really hard, or as hard as she can, thankfully my back was built like a boulder so it can take a little punch. Roxanna is surprisingly strong for how light she is, then again...she's always been a scrapper, I carry her to the treatment bed my mom has set up ready. I put her on the bed, she starts fighting really violently against me so I try and hold her down, I stare her in the eyes and made sure she could read my lips, I knew about her hearing difficulty so I wasn't going to let her use that against me "you need sorting out, now quit fighting against me. You need medical help, it's either this or the hospital" I said sternly much to her dislike, my dad is standing by the door watching all of this, she is getting out of hand now....at this point she's either going to hurt me or even worse herself I look at my mom, my mom and I then look at my dad.

My dad decided it was getting dangerous now, he says to my mom "sedate her now, before she causes any injuries to yous or herself".

Me and Alex was watching the whole scene play out from the hidden camera on Tobias that is recording everything, as we both seen the punch she delivered to Tobias me and Alex both flinch, even I felt that blow and I'm at the station "Geez, state pen are going to struggle with her when we lock her up" I said as we was watching the footage "Yes, I agree, he's taking a fair bit. On the bright side, we're getting more and more proof to lock her up for longer" Alex replied "I just hope Tobias can keep undercover without actually becoming friends" I say knowing what Tobias is like, and remembering all the stories he told me from a kid.

Then Alex told me some information I wasn't expecting "I heard earlier that it's a high possibility that Tobias is going to be the arresting officer" "that'll go down like a lead balloon" I said to Alex as we both go back to watching the screen.

~Jennifer~

I could see my son struggling to hold down Roxanna, she's gotten much worse than what she use to be, my heart aches for her knowing her past and how she's probably had to learn to adapt to her life on the run, I look at my husband to see what he thought, I hated sedating her but when my husband said to sedate her....I knew it had to be done, even if I hate putting her through that, she's like the daughter I never had. Me and her mother were best friends, I promised I'd look after Roxanna if anything happened to her. In a way I feel guilty, like I let Roxanna's mother down, but she escaped and I never knew where she was, but I have to put all of them feelings away while I deal with her. I nod at my husband knowing he was right and letting him know I heard what he said, I start getting the sedation ready, I was really hoping I wouldn't have to sedate Roxanna, but my husband is right I mean...who knows what damage she could be doing to herself while fighting against my son, so I quickly grab what I need.

~Tobias~

My mom starts  getting the sedation set up whilst I was still fighting against Roxanna trying to keep hold of her on the bed, trying to stop her resisting against me, suddenly as she was fighting against me, she punched me hard, my nose broke, I knew it did, I think we all heard the crack as her fist connected with me "OW! Damn it Roxanna!" just on queue my mom then got the sedation and injected it into Roxanna's neck as that was the only available place that wasn't moving as I could hold that still while trying to hold her down.

The sedation starts to take effect pretty much straight away, Roxanna started slowing down, I loosen my grip on her but still making sure she weren't going to fall or hurt herself, then Roxanna fell asleep and I let go of her. "I'm sorry Roxanna, I had to do it" my mom says with guilt in her voice, "thanks mom, she gives a whole new meaning to punching like a girl" I say in pain, my mom looks at me with much concern "your nose is swelling up pretty bad, I'll sort it when I'm done with Roxanna" I know you're probably wondering why doesn't my mom sort me out now? But as a medical professional she HAS to prioritise, plus the sedation only works for so long, Roxanna's arm is worse and bleeding very badly so she needs sorting before me, especially if my mom is going to do a full M.O.T on her for my dad, "thanks mom, for someone who is about as heavy as a twig, she puts up a good scrap" my dad keeps on looking over from the doorway "you're not wrong there" he agrees.
