I turned from talking to my brother to look at Roxanna only to see Robert had fully strapped her and was already starting to torture her, before I said anything, anger built up as I seen him inject something into her neck with a huge sharp needle 'geez that's used only on command not out of free will' I think to myself, as he injected her I seen her clench her hands and jaw, Robert smirked I started to walk over to them.

As I stood next to Robert I seen Roxanna unclench her hands and jaw as she started to weaken, I'm going to have to have some serious words with Robert, thankfully I still see a spark in her eyes and I know she's still ok "now, now Robert, stop that. I think you've done more than enough to her, she's our number 1, you've got to remember that" I said playing good cop in the hopes it will work "but boss" Robert tries to interrupt "no buts, now go, let me talk to my number 1" with that his jaw drops open agape, I just look at him and give him a stern look then wink quickly, then Robert walks away from us, understanding the plan. 

I turn to Roxanna, I kneel down on 1 knee so she can see me, I want to have a conversation and although Robert isn't aware, I know she is deaf, I can just tell. The way she speaks and how she looks at your lips without making it look obvious, but I respect her choice, if she wants people to know she'll tell them. "Hey Roxanna, my number 1 dealer, how you feeling?" I ask as I kneel down "how do ya think?" Roxanna snaps back, understanding her reaction I say "yes Robert was out of line with that, I'll talk to him honey. Now, how about we talk leader to leader, 1 to 1, see if we can come up with an agreement" before I could say anything else I can see her starting to go through withdrawal, she must be taking a lot for how soon she goes into withdrawal, again I play good cop "oh sweetie, I almost forgot you need your regular fix and not had it today, here this is our strongest of the new shipment" I say giving her 2 ecstasy tablets, usually you only take 1 but she seems like the type of person to double up on stuff like that "that should stop your withdrawal, I'll make sure you don't go through withdrawal again, my men tend to be idiots" "that's an understatement" I couldn't help but chuckle at her reply, she's so quick and sharp even when feeling like s**t, how can she be so funny in a situation of being held captive? After I manage to contain my laughter I say "anyway, shall we talk business now?" I ask "what about business? The longer I'm here the more your profits drop, you said yourself, I'm your best seller" she replies so smart knowing she was right, which she was, I'm not disagreeing on that one, "that is true dear" I said agreeing with her "but I know you're awfully skilled and tough, plus I love the way you was answering Robert. I must admit, you had me chuckling with it" I finish saying, Roxanna gave a smirk "glad you like it" and now to get to the point "I did, you know what else I'd like?" "to let me go?" I smirk at her response, Roxanna and her smart ass 1 liners "yes, but I also want you to join me, be 1 of my main members" I offer her "I already told ya I don't wanna though, I'm fine fightin an surviving myself while getting ya big bucks" her response wound me up, because I want her to join so bad, I've never begged anyone to join usually it's the other way them begging me.

If there's 1 quality and downfall I've noticed is Roxanna is very stubborn "I understand that Roxanna, but you're number 1 and I want you in my mafia as a member, you know, to be apart of us" I try to reason with her, but she so damn stubborn "as inviting as that sounds, I really don't want to" 'I guess playing nice won't work, this will be hard but I guess I got to be big bad boss' I think to myself guttered she wouldn't join us when we offered.

With a faulted smile I say "I'm so sorry you can't see it my way and join me peacefully, sorry for what's going to happen" she looks at me with confusion "huh?" I stand up and turn away I hear her hiss through her teeth "son of a..." then she's asleep, this is going to be harder than I thought "Robert stay here and watch Roxanna, me and Thomas have some work to do" I say as I walk out the door.

I'm in my room getting ready for work, I've not seen Roxanna for a while "I wonder where Ann is. I know this started as just a job, but I really hope she's ok, guess I've started warming up to us being friends for real. I hope she's not overdosed. I need my dad to get through to her to help her quit. The boys at the station aren't watching her now. I've not seen her for over 2 weeks, I really hope she's ok" I say as I finish getting ready for work.

~Joey~

Myself, Carrie, Toby and Laine are all talking to each other feeling a bit lost without our leader, Carrie also looking worse for wear, "I wonder where Ann is" I say breaking the awkwardness between the silence, Toby joins me "I've not seen her in 2 weeks" the Carrie being the self centred 1 of our gang adds "I know, I need to get my fix offa her", me and Toby look at each other then at Carrie in disbelief, it's Laine who brakes the silence of us all being stunned "seriously Caz?" he asked sounding as shocked as we are "what? It's true" Carrie continues wrapped up in herself, Laine tries to get Carrie to not be so self centred, I mean this is our leader we're on about, a gang struggles with no leader "Roxanna's not been seen or heard from in 2 weeks and you're more bothered about your next fix? She takes more than you" Laine says trying to get through to Carrie.

Just then Toby brakes the whole conversation sounding worried "oh man, what if she's OD?" I really hope with everything inside me that she hasn't "what about that cop? What if he's got her arrested?" I say with the same concern as Toby, then dear self centred druggy Carrie starts talking, whether it was to calm our nerves or hers, but it didn't convince me she says "guys relax, this is Rox we're talking bout. She'll be fine, I bet ya she's just chilling off somewhere to escape for a bit. In fact I know she is, I've got faith in her, she's strong, she'll be fine".
