When Worlds Collide

Chapter 2

FLASHBACK

I was 13 years old, I had been in this hell for about 2 or 3 years now. I'm so done with this place, this is total hell I have to escape. We all are out of our cells, I see my chance, this here right now, this is my chance to make a break and I'm going to take it. 'I've gotta get outta here, now' I think to myself, so I come up with a plan. I run for the yard, I know the yard like the back of my hand, it was the best part of hell. I'm done many laps all around the yard and now I know all the weak points. Next I suddenly hear the alarm, it must of been blaring as everyone was covering their ears. I keep running my surroundings becoming all but a blur as I focus on my 1 aim, my target, my mission, to get the hell out of hell. I pause only for a little bit to give my legs a break and catch my breath, but that is short lived as I look back behind me I see guards coming towards me, so I face to where I have to go and start running as fast as my short legs could take me.

I was smaller than average but I was super fast, so as long as I can out run the stupid guards I'm good.

I run and run until I come to a wall, the wall weren't very high so I could jump and grab the top to jump over the other side. The guards are still chasing after me, they're still on my trail, I have to keep going if I wanna get out of here. 

Not long now, I can see the fence. I'm so close to freedom, I just have to make it to the fence. I run and run until I finally reach the fence. I can taste and feel the freedom, this fence is the only obstacle between me and freedom. 

I jump on the fence and start climbing, the fence is pretty high or so it seemed to me, I finally reach the top, climb over and make my way down the other side. I jump the last bit of the fence.

"I'm finally free, yes FREEDOM!" I run away from the hell hole and don't look back.

Flashback ends.

I keep running, as fast as I possibly can, twisting and turning to avoid getting caught. I can't, not now, not ever.
