~Tobias~ I got ready for work, I know my mom wanted to talk to me about something...what? I don't know, so I got ready a bit earlier than I usually would, she said yesterday it's serious and urgent that we talked so I got ready earlier as I know she came home about a hour ago. I know how hard her shifts can be, her job isn't easy, she sees people die when she's trying to save them or get a patient that hits close to home or just generally running a hospital that she owns, so I always give her time alone when she gets home. I go downstairs and go into the living room, I see my mom sitting on the couch drinking a cup of tea, so I walk over to her and sit next to her. "Hey mom, what's up?"
